Hey theatre fans! The TKTS Times Square location has new hours beginning this Thursday, February 2nd. Run by the Theatre Development Fund (TDF), TKTS is the destination to get discounted Broadway and Off-Broadway tickets in NYC. TDF works to bring the power of performing arts to everyone through supporting live theatre and dance by fostering diverse audiences and breaking down barriers to attendance.
Here is the most up to date schedule so you don’t miss out on those discounted tickets!
(Located "under the red steps" in Father Duffy Square at Broadway and 47th Street)
For Same-Day Matinee & Evening Performances & Next-Day Matinee Performances:
Monday: 3:00PM - 8:00PM
Tuesday: 3:00PM - 8:00PM
Wednesday: 11:00AM - 8:00PM
Thursday: 3:00PM - 8:00PM
Friday: 3:00PM - 8:00PM
Saturday: 11:00AM - 8:00PM
Sunday: 11:00AM - 7:00PM
We spoke with TKTS Patron Services Manager Samantha Dubin to get the inside scoop on the schedule updates. The new hours are permanent unless a Thursday matinee is added to a Broadway show’s schedule.
“We’ll certainly adjust for holiday schedules, but for now these are our permanent hours for the foreseeable future,” explained Dubin.
Off-Broadway shows that still have Thursday matinees can be purchased on Wednesdays at the Times Square or Lincoln Center locations or on Thursdays at the Lincoln Center location that will still be opening at 11am.
